Dennis Franklin Smith's Obituary
Dennis Franklin Smith passed away on Friday, April 6, 2007.
He was born January 4, 1942 to the late Robert Walker Smith and Genevieve Cecilia Chastang Smith.
Mr. Smith is survived by two brothers, Alfred R. Smith and his wife Dolly of Mandeville and Richard L. Smith and his wife Dot of Mobile, AL; and a sister-in-law, Elizabeth B. Smith of Mobile, AL. Also surviving is several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert A. Smith and Ronald E. Smith.
He was a Nurse Anesthesis at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and a United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam Era and obtaining the rank of Captain.
He graduated from McGill Institute and Providence School of Nursing both in Mobile, AL, he also graduated from Norfolk General Hospital School of Anesthesia in Norfork, VA.
Relatives and friends of the family and Employees of St. Tammany Parish Hospital are invited to attend Funeral Services on Tuesday, April 10, 2007 at 12:00 Noon from Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, 312 Lafitte Street, Mandeville, LA 70448.
Visiting hours will be AT THE CHURCH on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
