My Dear Cousin Bitsy, What a beautiful and loving tribute to Dennis. I can not grieve for him because l rejoice with the Angels and the Saints in tears for his salvation and new life in Heaven with Jesus. I know how much you loved each other and your children just as much. Your strength and courage proves to me the Grace that God gives to us in our hour of need. I worked the Mr Dennis at the Vinery. I was a new chef and he was the old man on the grill. It was always a pleasure and an honor to spend a few hours in the kitchen with Dennis. Now, I'm the old man on the grill at another place and can only aspire to meet the standards set by Mr Dennis. My deepest sympathies on your loss.

Bitsy, I have known Dennis since we were teenagers before the Fire Department. He was always a great friend to me and we loved the way he and yourself made us feel like family at your home. We know he will be missed greatly by all who knew him. He was a brave man and battled a long fight with his cancer. I was a captain at eng. 35 in Dennis's district He was a great guy. Happy go lucky sort. Will miss seeing him at the firefighters dinners at Rags.
