We are heartbroken to learn of Dennis' passing. We regret that it had been some time since we last saw him. We will always remember him fondly at family get-togethers, where his calm demeanor and witty personality stood out. We hope you can take solace knowing that he was able to spend his final weeks and days surrounded by the love of family and friends; we should all hope for a similar opportunity. We will have Dennis and both of you in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Mark Twain wrote that humor was mankind's greatest blessing. Dennis was more blessed than most! Not only in humor but in kindness, intellect, wit, spirit and love for God, his family and friends. A Southern gentlemen with a twinkle in his eye always ready with a witty remark or joke.

Through MQP liturgy, music/mutual friends and Fr. Ronnie's family we got to know Dennis and Mary. Dennis' calm and clear delivery as Lector was his signature to me along with a twinkle in his eye where you could tell he was thinking of something funny to say. Never complaining when going through his treatments, Dennis shows us how to live a positive Christian life. We'll miss him, but know he's home and cracking jokes in heaven. Well done Dennis!
