Dennis Arthur Bergeron, Jr., age 92 of Slidell, LA died on Thursday, May 19, 2016, at Carpenter House Hospice in River Ridge, LA. Born, Tuesday, October 09, 1923 in New Orleans, LA to Dennis Arthur Bergeron, Sr. and Grace Robinson Bergeron.
Survived by his daughters - Cheryl Pitfield, Sheila DeLaup, Cathy Helring, sons - Greg Bergeron, Tim Bergeron, Dennis Bergeron, III, Kirk Bergeron, Terry Harrison, Richard Harrison, brothers - William Bergeron, James Ricker, 23 grandchildren, and 28 great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his wife - Martha Jean Bergeron, parents, son - Darryl Bergeron, granddaughter – Kaitlyn Pitfield, brother - Thomas Bergeron, sisters - Elmire Bertucci, Claire Marie Bergeron, and Grace Bodden.
He belonged to the Fraternal Order of Police, PWIBA, and Knights of Columbus 4th Degree. He was the former King Adam II of the Krewe of Eve and was Mr. B of Mr. B’s Camper Sales.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 West 21st Avenue Covington, LA 70433.
Visitation on Saturday, May 21, 2016 from 9:00 AM to service time.
Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens Covington, LA.
