My deepest condolences to the family. Denise and I started working at John Dibert Elementary in New Orleans the same year, 1986. We worked together till she and her family moved to Mandeville. We shared many experiences while she was there, including the growth of her son Jacob and the birth of her next 3 children. She was an energetic, talented, creative and caring teacher. Very organized and intelligent. We knew whatever task she was in charge of would be done well and on time.
She was also a loving and doting mother.
I know here absence will be deeply missed by the family she cared for and loved dearly.
May the wonderful memories you all shared, comfort you at this very hard time. Sending thoughts, prayers and rainbows.
Carmelee Thorpe.
