Donald, I'm so sorry about your mother's passing. I know how much you loved her. Plese accept my heartfelt sympathy for you and your family.
When Olga was in her 30s, she lived in a suburb called Green Acres. Just two doors down she had a neighbor that was 19 years old with 4 children. That 19 year old was my mother. My mother and the rest of the family came to know and depend on Olga right away. At least once a week, my mother would send one of us to Olga's house to borrow an egg, a cup of milk or something. There was no shortage of volunteers to go to Olga's house because when you went, you came back with more than something borrowed. You came back feeling loved. I later found out that my mother would go over to Olga's after we left for school to have long chats with her mentor. And what a great mentor she was. Olga would do anything for us including paying a utility bill so the lights could stay on. She loved people and loved life. I will forever be grateful that she was a part of my family's life.
Kathy and Finnly you and your family are in my prayers. God's srength will get you through each day with my deepest condolences.jackie Baker
