I just today learned of David's passing. I am his aunt, His dads sister. David was very special to us growing up. My Dad was David's Grandfather, my brother was his dad. David often stayed with my dad as a young boy, often rode in the pick-up truck and helped him with watermelons!The last time I saw him was at His Dad's (Jack) funeral many years ago. I can tell you that David held a special place in our Mother's heart; her last spoken words to us before her passing were "take care of David". Thank you for doing that. My prayers go out to Mr.David's family. I only knew Mr. David because he is my sister Desiree Sullivan Austin's father and he was a great man.
One of my favorite memories of Dave was how he always loved cornbread. That is the special little memories you hold in your heart as life continues to move on.
