David Wayne Punch's Obituary
David Wayne Punch passed away on Monday March 22, 2021 at the age of 57. He was born July 14, 1963 in New Orleans, LA. He was a resident of Folsom, LA.
David was a talented musician who’s musical skills were appreciated by all who knew him. Music was his passion and he devoted most of his life to writing and composing. David also loved working with his hands. He enjoyed making jewelry boxes and other items and giving them away as gifts.
He is survived by his beloved mother, Shirley Nichel Punch, and brothers, Robert A. Punch (Morie) and Glenn C. Punch (Eva).
He was preceded by his father Dave Camille Punch, Jr., paternal grandparents, Dave Camille Punch, Sr. and Irene Dufrene Chambless, and maternal grandparents, John C. Nichel, Jr. and Shirley Appel Nichel.
Due to COVID-19, social distancing is encouraged and masks are required to attend services.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at First Baptist Church of Folsom, 13320 Broadway St. Folsom, LA 70437, on Tuesday March 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Tuesday March 30, 2021 beginning 9:00 AM. Entombment will follow in Metairie Cemetery, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70124.
