What a loss for this world! When I first met him, I was cautious. I could not believe he was genuine. But I soon learned he was as lovely as he seemed! What a rare gift he was, and his positive essense, freely shared with all and sundry, was his unique gift! We thank God for him, and all the ones that enabled his good existence that made our lives better. I so regret I did not know him for longer. Dear Mary and Paige, So sorry to hear of David's passing. I have a few camellias in pots from your nursery that I have left over from one of my Camellia sales, when I go out to water them, I will think of David and remember him for the congenial and nice man that he was and I will say a prayer - a prayer of thanksgiving for having crossed paths with David and also Mary and Paige, more than a just the fine nursery that Mizells is, the relationship with the owners who make you feel at home. May he rest in peace and may the perpetual light shine upon him.

Mary and I grew up together. We were inseparable weekends at their camp in Waveland, cruising the riverfront in Madisonville, spending nights At Grandma Brandt’s, then came David. Swept her off her feet, married her, loved her, gave her beautiful children, beautiful life, and although David took Mary away from me I knew she couldn’t have chosen anyone better than David. He is in the hands of the Lord now. I will keep you all in my prayers.
