I had the pleasure of meeting David a few times. Such a kind person and always of good spirit.
What a kind, special soul heaven has received. Although I am deeply saddened, I am comforted knowing David is no longer in pain but is singing and dancing with our Lord. He came into my life when I was 9 and often reminds me of the silly things I did as a child. He gets a huge smile when he talks of how beautiful my teenage daughters are now and how much they resemble me when I was little. There's never a conversation where he doesn't tell me how proud he is of me and how he has loved me all these years. I have been blessed to have him as a friend. I am honored to have had all the encouragement and advice he's given me. Everytime we talk he just listens and listens and wants to know everything new going on. He would say my life was so much more interesting than his these days! My prayers and love goes to his dear family and friends especially Andy. Oh how he loved Andy! Rest In Peace my sweet friend. You will always be in my heart. I love you.
Sure am sorry to hear of David's passing. I knew him from way back at the Bastrop Daily Enterprise. He was always such a kind and sweet person, always smiling. Prayers for his family.
