David Orlando Figueroa, III's Obituary
David Orlando Figueroa, III passed away on Wednesday, September 18, 2013 at the young age of 18. A resident of Covington, LA, David was a senior at St. Stanislaus College.
David was an avid lover of nature and the outdoors. During his young life he enjoyed art, music, writing, science, fishing, golfing, boxing, and martial arts. He was an avid reader and very outspoken on world events and social injustices.
Beloved son of David O. Figueroa, Jr., and Cherry Thomas Figueroa. Loving brother of Pinson Thomas Figueroa and Isabella Zubie Figueroa. Grandson of David O. Figueroa, Sr., Margaret Elizabeth Figueroa, Numa “Buddy” Thomas and the late Lois Thomas. Also survived by Uncles and Aunts, Greg P. Figueroa, Caroline C. Figueroa, Raquel F. Joseph, Scott Joseph, Dr. Stephen A. Figueroa, Sandy C. Thomas and the late Steven N. Thomas. Cousins Zac Carter Figueroa, Corinn Figueroa, Gregory David Figueroa, Zachary Joseph, Gabriella Joseph, Tiffany Thomas Jones, and Alexandra Little Varella.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Monday, September 23rd, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA70433 at 12:00 Noon with visitation from 9 AM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in Memory of David O.
