David Tozer Benedict's Obituary
David Tozer Benedict passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2014 at his home in Covington, LA at the age of 59. He was born on February 25, 1955 in San Antonio, TX to the late John W. and Mary H. Benedict.
In 1982, David married his beloved wife, Valerie McLean Benedict. He was the adoring father of Zoe Ru Benedict. He was the brother of Robert Benedict (Laura Niles) and Steve Benedict. He will be dearly missed by numerous family and friends.
David worked as a consultant in the optical industry for over 20 years. He was a classically trained guitarist and an avid golfer. David was family man and enjoyed nothing more than spending time with his wife and daughter.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Service on Saturday, June 21, 2014 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 at 3:00 PM with visitation from 2:00 PM until service time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions in memory of David T.
