Dave Anthony Schouest Jr.'s Obituary
Dave Anthony Schouest, Jr. of Madisonville, LA passed away on Thursday, April 5, 2018. He was born on September 30, 1939 in New Orleans, LA to Dave Anthony Schouest, Sr. and Anita Bonnomore.
Dave is survived by his beloved wife, Judy Tastet Schouest; his children Mary S. Percle (Paul), Lorrie A Schouest, and Scott J. Schouest (Keith Clifton); three grandchildren Cory, Kyle, and Chase; and four great-grandchildren Amrie, Aisley, Kyle, Jr., and Ivan. He is also survived by his sister Linda Tyson and a host of nieces and nephews.
Dave is preceded in death by his parents and his brother Donald Schouest.
Dave proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Bell South Pioneer’s, and St. Joseph’s Altar Society of St. Anselm. Dave was an avid golfer, bass fisherman, and loved to travel. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anselm Catholic Church, 306 St. Mary St, Madisonville, LA 70447 on Monday, April 9, 2018 at 11:00 AM with visitation on Monday beginning at 9:30 AM. Interment will follow the service in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery, 3500 LA-1, Raceland, LA 70394. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Dave to be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, https://www.stjude.org/ .
