My deepest sympathies to your family in this time of the loss of Darryl.
In loving memory of Darryl Henrh Rauber.
I will say that I was married to Darryl for 23 years. My name is Ms. Gladys Chris Rauber.
We resided in Chalmete, Louisiana with or children, Vicki, David, Bobby And Bridgette. Vickie, David and Bobby said my Step children. Bridgette was his step father but, however, he treated her as his own.
Darryl was a very devoted, loving husband and father. He always made it a habit to tell us how much he loved us and that his love was deep.
Darryl gave us all he could and asked for nothing in return. He strived to spend more time with the children.
Darryl was a hard worker, never missing a day of work. If there was an award for perfect attendance, he would have gotten it every year.
You may not know, but Darryl took extra jobs in addition to give the kids a little better Christmas each year.
He made sure our family was provided for.
Some of the jobs were... Janitorial, gardening, landscaping, construction, and collecting aluminium cans and making yard decorations for craft shows. These tasks were mostly the times we had to do activities with the kids. Together we faced a lot of changes he he always gave us the courage and strength to make it through
Because of what I learned from Darryl, I became a better, stronger person than I was.
As I look back now at all the memories, I realized that those were the best years of my life.
In loving memory of my husband of 23 years, may he rest in peace.
Gladys Chris Rauber
