I have so many great memories of growing up with Darrin in our childhood neighborhood. The summer we participated in the junior deputy program is one I look back fondly on. He was a dear friend. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones.

I had the honor of standing in for my father at Diane and Darrin's wedding in giving Diane to Darrin in marriage. I know that he as well as the rest of the family would join in today in saying that was not a step of misplaced trust. Darrin always loved Diane to the best of his ability which was immense. He cared, provided and sacrificed for Diane, Sydney and Jude each and every day. He also hosted many a dinner for the family always with a broad smile and full table. I hop that we will be able to meet Diane, Sydney, and Jude's needs as he so lovingly did.

There are no words to express how saddened Gary and I were to hear of Darrin's passing. You all are in our prayers. Know that you are surrounded with love, compassion, and support during this difficult time. Darrin was a special person and will always be remembered by those of us fortunate to know him.
