Dear Jane, I thought surely this must have been a mis-print. I can't imagine the agony of losing a second child. I know this sort of thing happens, but you pray it never happens. I'm so very sorry about your loss. I've thought of you often over the past couple of years. Your card stays on my desk in plain view so that I can remember to e-mail you to offer you my support, as one bereaved mother to another. Please know you have always been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be, even more so, as you process this heart-breaking leaving of your son. Please call me or write me, anytime, if I can help you in any way. It does get easier, over the years. And always know, you will be with your children again. God promised us that. It will be as it was before, only better.
