Darrell Judson O’Keefe passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 surrounded by his family at his home in Covington, LA. He was born on February 23, 1933 in Blond, LA to the late Judson O’Keefe and Dezzie Sharp O’Keefe.
Darrell was married to his beloved wife Mary Janet Sylvest O’Keefe for 67 years. He was the loving father of Sammy D. O’Keefe (Carlene), Joseph E. O’Keefe, Bathany O. Wooley (the late Ronnie), Rhonda O. Spinks (Chris), Patrice O. Clark (David), and Cynthia O. Chambers (Ed). Darrell was the proud grandfather of 19 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 6 great great-grandchildren. He was the brother of A. Arnold O’Keefe, the late Adrian O. Sweeney, and Gary L. O’Keefe
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Mass at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Friday, November 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time.
