Darrell Dwayne Berrigan's Obituary
Darrell Dwayne Berrigan passed away on Sunday, May 30, 2021 in Hammond, LA surrounded by family. He was born on April 13, 1972 in Slidell, LA to his late mother, Malcolm Barkley Berrigan and his late father, Vernon John Berrigan, Sr.
Darrell was the beloved brother of Laura Creighton (David), Tracey Berrigan, Kimberly Baggett, Naydeen Berrigan, and the late V. Jay Berrigan, Jr. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Darrell was deeply loved and will be missed by many. May he rest in peace. The family offers special thanks to the staff at Ivy Springs Group Home and numerous others that have shown Darrell love, care, and support though past years. A special thank you to Disability Rights Louisiana and Shirley Brown for her dedication and unwavering support.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Slidell, LA. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disability Rights Louisiana, www.disabilityrightsla.org.
