Dannal Sharp's Obituary
Dannal Sharp went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 11, 2024. He was born in Bush, LA on August 17, 1937.
He is survived by his loving children, William Mark Sharp, Mary Sharp Foto (Mark), Angela Sharp Leblanc (Wesley) and Caitlyn Leblanc (Harrison); his grandchildren, Kari Campbell, Lacey Taylor, Hannah Jarrell and Paityn Leblanc, Zachary Leblanc, Bethany Leblanc and Avery Leblanc; great-grandchildren, Alivia Campbell, Landon Campbell, Maverick Campbell, Seth Catoire, Harley Taylor, Carter Taylor, Brynlee Fardoulis, Bryson Yent, Bennett Leblanc and Vivian Leblanc. He is also survived by his siblings, Nola Galloway, Alma Sharp and Orece Sharp, nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends. Faithful friend and caretaker, Stanley Catoire.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Edna Townsend Sharp; his son, Timothy George Sharp; parents Alma and Ira Sharp; and 11 siblings.
Dannal was a faithful member of Collins Blvd. Baptist Church for over 50 years and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Mr. Sharp may be made to BEAMS Bible Distribution Ministry, P.O. Box 10200, Gulfport, MS 39505.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Collins Blvd. Baptist Church, 1501 N Collins Blvd, Covington, LA 70433, on Friday, May 17, 2024, at 12:00 noon with visitation at church on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in Sharp Cemetery.
