Judy, I am so sorry for your loss. I want to take this chance to thank you for sharing Danny with mine and Donnie's children. My children and I applaud your's and Michelle's tireless nights and days taking excellent care of Danny. I know you will find much peace of mind remembering his wonderful sense of humor. He gave his time and love to mine and Donnie's children. They loved and "idolized" Danny. My prayers are with you. Thank God for wonderful human beings such as y'all. Margaret Martin

I am so sorry to learn of Danny's passing! Aside from being my supervisor, he was a dear friend, and a really great guy! I will never forget how he came out to Avondale and helped me to build a much needed storage shed, all the while laughing at my clumsiness.
It was really a fun project.
Danny was my first cousin, we became closer over the past few years and had some great times! He showed a lot of compassion for others and he will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife, children, and the rest of our family. I know he is in a far better place. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord!

Words will not even begin to do any justice, to how I(we) felt about a person that, changed one's perspective on how to live and love again. Danny tought me everything that my Dad couldn't, because he passed too soon, I truly loved him, and I had the chance to tell him a couple of weeks before he passed, when i changed the oil in his truck. We never shook hands when we said see ya later, but for some reason, he extended his hand to mine, looked me in the eye and said "Thank ya son" and with that, we parted ways, had i known that would be the last, i would have stayed the entire day with the man that became a second father and grandfather to me and my children. I will always remember the times we shared, always, Rest in Peace Danny, I love ya, Gregg and the family.
We want to extend our sympathy to Danny's family. I was so touched by the photo of he and his dogs together. We met Danny by taking 2 of his classes at Delgao and talked about him often. What a character! I will always remember how much he enjoyed telling all the men in the class they needed a good lipstick in their toolbox! Their faces would make him laugh. It was to mark the sheetrock, not for the men to wear. He gave all his students all his best and was a good man.
We will both miss you Danny and we know that Oak Park will never be the same without you. From the first time we saw you waving as you were going by in the gold convertible Cadillac, until your untimely passing, we will always remember your unrestrained personality. It was what set you apart and made us love you. John and Janice Wallace
