I know I speak for every one of us who raced with him at Hallett, he was an absolute gentleman and I am honored to have known him.

Patsy. I am so very sorry for your loss. I am speechless. I fondly remember meeting Dan at 5:00 AM in the morning when he and I were waiting on an airplane. He was reading a magazine on the F1 race cars. I was going to Daytona for the annual sports car races and introduced myself knowing he was heading there as well. I enjoyed spending time with him at Daytona.
Then the very next year I was in attendance at the 24 hours of Petit Le Mans in Georgia and lo and behold I ran into you and Dan at the races. Later I helped him in Texas, Iowa and Nebraska with his Mazda Race car. I am fondly focusing on the great times I had helping him.
I loved our spirited driving from time to time in twisty back roads in the hills of Arkansas. Me in my vintage black 1974 Porsche 911 hot rod and Dan in that special orange Porsche Boxster S limited edition.
I am truly blessed to have known Dan and you are in my thoughts Patsy.
