Dan Wayne Coulon's Obituary
The loved ones of Dan Wayne Coulon announce with great sorrow his passing on April 27, 2026
at the age of 73 years old. He is survived by his wife, Diana Brannick- Coulon, Mother Joyce Allen Coulon, brother Glen Morris Coulon, son Dan Cal Coulon, grandson Blake Ryan Badeaux, Sr., great grandson Blake Ryan Badeaux, Jr., stepdaughter Dina Gillespie Lipari, son in law Ronald Lipari and step grandsons Aidan Murphy and Jeremy Lipari.
Dan traveled extensively in his life. First as a child of a marble mason moving with his family for his father's work and later in life with his wife on numerous vacations. He loved to be home in Louisiana and would tell anyone the best food was here. Dan always had a great story, a smile and a laugh for everyone. His kind heart and genuine concern for others was a hallmark for all that knew him. He loved to cook and camp. There wasn't anything he couldn't fix and would teach anyone who needs to know how to do it. Dan also served proudly in the Navy. After his service he spent many years in the marble and granite industry helping to build such landmarks as One Shell Square and many of New Orleans' mausoleums where his attention to detail and his eye for beauty was exceptional. He then went on to have a second career, responsible for fixing and replacing the electronics and computer parts of video poker machines. Dan's knowledge of many things made him a go to person for many.
Above all, Dan loved his family. He will be treasured and missed tremendously.
