Dale Joseph Webre

I'm so sorry I can not make the funeral on that date. Dale was my first Boss and Mentor out of College when I started at Texaco. I have many fond memories of him and since I was not from Louisiana one of my fondest memories of Dale was that he would take me out every Friday and show me a local "joint" in New Orleans for lunch to expose me to the culture that he so loved and was proud of. He taught me many things about being a landman but mostly about being a good ethical person and always be willing to help others. There was no job in the office that Dale ever felt he was above. Rest in Peace my friend.

I was fortunate to live near and work with Dale for a number of years in Lafayette. He was a kind caring soul with a sharp wit and a twinkle in his eye. He loved his wife and family and shared this willingly. He was a real joy to work with and also a good neighbor. He will be missed.
