Dale Charles Durbin's Obituary
Dale Charles Durbin passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2024 at the age of 66.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bridget Marie Durbin; his son, Jonathan Charles Durbin (Diana) and 1 grandson, Jack Charles Durbin. He is also survived by his siblings, Cathy D. Mutter (Gary), Sandra D. Burch (Henry), Kim D. Collins (Hank) and Wade Michael Durbin.
He was preceded in death by his parents Muriel Rita “Mitzie” Durbin and Charles Abner Durbin Jr. and his daughter Melissa Marie Durbin-Luce.
Dale was born and raised in Metairie, LA and graduated from Archbishop Rummel High School in 1976. A graduate from Loyola University New Orleans with a Business Degree in Accounting, he was a Banking professional for over 30 years. Dale served in many VP and Operations roles throughout his career. He was also a Licensed Nursing Facility Administrator in the State of Louisiana. At an early age, Dale enjoyed playing guitar, road cycling and traveling with his family. Dale will be remembered for being a gentle, kind, hard-working man who was also a fun loving uncle to all who knew him. Dale was a long time member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Covington, La. and enjoyed serving his community. He was involved in Boy Scout Troop 160 of Covington where he served as the Committee Chairman and a member of the Northshore Kiwanis Club.
The family expresses its appreciation for the kindness and care of Lakeview Hospital and Egan Hospice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, December 28, 2024 at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place following the service at Pinecrest Memorial Gardens, 2280 W 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433.
