Cynthia "Cindy" Wilson Kellum's Obituary
Cynthia "Cindy" Wilson Kellum passed away on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. She was born, Saturday, October 18, 1947 in New Orleans, LA to Albert W. and Rita Deist Wilson and was a resident of Loranger for the past 11 years.
The beloved wife of Bonnie Roy Kellum, she is survived by three sons: Brian A. Kellum (Dee), Keith W. and Ronnie R. Kellum (Patty); one brother - Merl Wilson (Judy); six grandchildren: Loretta K. Schroeder (Jonathan), Joshua A. Kellum (Olivia), Kayla R., Brooke L., Whitney K. and Jordan J. Kellum and two great grandchildren - James W. and Kayden Z. Schroeder.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Cindy was President for the Ladies Auxiliary of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, Department of Louisiana and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliaries for the American Legion Post 16, VFW Post 8720 and the Vietnam Veterans of America Chapter 1052. She was a true patriot; her dedication and hard work for these organizations will be missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services at 12:00 Noon on Wednesday, November 06, 2013 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Ave. Covington, LA 70433.
Visiting hours on Wednesday will begin at 9:00 AM.
