I am most saddened to hear of the passing of my old friend Curtis Sharp. To his family, I am very sorry I could not make the services today (work demands would not allow it).
For those that don't know, Curtis and I worked together at WARB, from 1987-1991.
Curtis was one of the nicest people I ever had the pleasure of working with. He was a kind person, always willing to help. We had some road trips broadcasting Covington high football (a trip to lake charles to play Barbe, is particularly memorable), where I got to know him away from work. He was a good broadcaster, a professional, who took pride in his work. And, he was a friend. Rest in Peace, Curtis Wayne Sharp. You were a good guy.
