Dr. Craig Wilhelm Stroebel's Obituary
Dr. Craig Wilhelm Stroebel, beloved son and brother, went home to the Lord at the age of 57 on January 6, 2025. A native of New Orleans, Louisiana, and a resident of Metairie, Craig is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Courtney John Stroebel, Sr. and Florence Crifasi Stroebel, and his grandparents, William Courtney Stroebel, Adeline Zeller Stroebel, Jake Crifasi and Florence Carollo Crifasi. He is survived by his brother Dr. Courtney John Stroebel, Jr., sisters- Kristi Lyn Stroebel, Dr. Wendy Stroebel Radman (Adriano), and Heidi Stroebel Chappuis (Scott); and six nephews and nieces – Jacob and Kristin Burnthorne, Adeline and Cassidy Chappuis, and Christian and Sophia Radman.
Dr. Stroebel was a graduate of Holy Cross High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University before obtaining his chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College. He was a dedicated chiropractor, serving patients in Colorado, Kansas, Texas, and Louisiana. As a licensed acupuncturist, he also provided acupuncture therapy to his patients in Kansas and Texas.
Dr. Stroebel played football in his younger years at Kenilworth Park and Holy Cross. He enjoyed beekeeping, fishing and collecting cars.
Dr. Stroebel was a parishioner of St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church in Metairie. A private Catholic Mass and burial took place on January 14, 2025, at Saint Joseph Abbey in St. Benedict, Louisiana.
