I am so glad I was able to see her smiling face last year at the Rosary reunion. She was such a wonderful and gracious woman. She will be greatly missed.

It was not mentioned but Mrs. Barry was the mastermind behind the day camp Mes Amies that I now run with her granddaughter Catie. I worked countless summers at the Barry home on Marengo Street. Mrs. Barry taught me how to be a responsible leader and to cater to the campers’ individual needs. Mrs. Barry was detail oriented and tough. She showed me by example how to run the business efficiently and frugally. It was a challenge running the camp out of their home because Mrs. Barry always wanted the house to be back in order for Mr. Barry and their children each evening - I knew her family was the most important part of her life and she wanted their home to be a home not a camp each evening.
I owe so much to Mrs. Barry and send my prayers to the Barry clan.
