Cora Francis Rodriguez Ezell's Obituary
Cora Francis Rodriguez Ezell, age 83, passed away peacefully, November 20, 2021. She was born to the late Enos and Gertrude Rodriguez on April 28, 1938 in Folsom, LA. Cora was the most caring and compassionate woman.
Cora is survived by her sons: Elvis Ezell; Michael (Judith) Ezell Sr.; and Dale Ezell; grandchildren: Christy (Dennis) Galloway; Stephanie (Matthew) Shipp; Michael Ezell Jr.; Courtney Ezell; Matthew Ezell; Noah Ezell; Dustin (Miranda) Nave; 9 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband James Ezell; daughter Sharon Ezell (Dianne); brother, Elliotte Rodriguez; sisters, Jeanette Corkern, and Mary McLain.
A native and longtime resident of Folsom, Cora truly enjoyed her career as a child care provider in her home for over 20 wonderful years. She became a grandmother to many and formed a lasting relationship with the families. Cora was a devoted member for many years to New Hope Baptist Church of Folsom.
Cora was loving, kind, and humble person, she enjoyed spending time outdoors gardening. She also enjoyed spending time indoors completing picture puzzles. However, her true passion was spending time with her loving family. Cora was unique, well respected and liked, who will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew her and loved.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Funeral Service at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, Louisiana 70433 on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation from 10:00 AM until service time. Interment will follow the service at Blackwell Cemetery, Folsom, Louisiana.
