Marcia, Condolences from Ken Miller. The last time I saw Joe was in Sacramento, Ca.(1970) I walked into the Sacramento Inn and I hear a voice, "Ken Miller" and there was Joe and he said, "I haven't seen you in 5 years and I was worried about you" I never forgot his words. Remember when y'all moved from Hickam Village we took over the house and Joe had a board under the mattress to keep it firm! I thought Joe was 10 years younger than me but it was only 4 years difference. Joe had personality and always a smile. If you answer my email, please let me know what caused his demise because he was such a young man. God bless you and family. Ken Miller, USAF & UAL ret.
Dear Marcia, I just heard of Joe's passing today, and wanted to extend my condolences to you and your family. I am glad that we had the chance to see and visit with you at our 50th reunion. Our thoughts and prayers are with you!
Patrick- Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We are so sorry for your loss. Your Dad was such a wonderful man and I will never forget him or your family.
Rest in Peace.
Our deepest condolences to the entire Mahoney family. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
To the Mahoney family, I send you my deepest sympathy for your loss. Although I did not know him I can only imagine the individual he was. I have the pleasure of calling Patrick a friend here in New York. And it is through him that I get to see your families many qualities stand out. God Bless you all.

We only met Joe a few times and wish we had known him better, but just as the fruit is the proof of the quality of the tree, knowing and loving Patrick as we do, we also know what a wonderful man Joe must have been. Our hearts and prayers go out to Marcia and all the family and hope that your love and memories can bring you comfort during this very sad time.
My deepest sympathies to the Family of Colonel Mahoney. When someone leads such and admirable life, devoted to family, friends, and service to our country, remembrance brings both sadness and fondness for those whose life he touched. My prayers will include Colonel Mahoney and his loved ones.
We send you our deepest condolences and sympathies and hope that your memories, friends and family will give you strength through this difficult time.
