I will never forget when and my brother and I first met Cody in Abita. He was a really cool kid. I couldn’t wait to see him on the weekends when I visited my grandma. I remember we would always hang out or play cards or play outside. As we got older we grew apart and then when I was a freshman in high school we had English class together, we would share stories about when we were kids and laugh. He was still the same sweet guy from years earlier, probably the sweetest guy I knew. I was shocked to hear of his passing, the last I talked to him was right after his surgery a while back and he seemed to be doing fine. I’m going to miss him dearly and I really wanted to go to his funeral… rest in peace buddy.

I taught Cody when he was a student at Covington Elementary. I am so sorry for your loss. He was always a friendly and outgoing student. It was a pleasure to teach him.
cody and my children played togather as friends when he lived in abita east apts such a sweet person he was im sure as an adult he was the same my sympathies are with the family he is no longer in pain and in a better place
