Clyde Galloway's Obituary
Clyde Galloway, a lifelong resident of the Lee Road community, passed away on Monday, March 2, 2009 at the age of 81.
He is survived by former wife, Alpha Galloway; 3 children, Rhonda Nelson, William Galloway (Beverly) and Kimberly Dowden (Bennie); 4 grandchildren, his little darling Tina Mooney, David Nelson, Chantelle and B.J. Dowden; 1 great-grandchild, his special angel Alyssa Mooney; a sister, Geraldine Crowe; a brother, Troy Galloway; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, Chess Galloway and Emma Taylor Galloway; 4 brothers, Claudie, Loyd, Phillip and Louis Galloway; 3 sisters, Gladys Jenkins, Eloise Loyd and Eula Tisdale.
We would like to thank the nurses, doctors and Hospice at St. Tammany Parish Hospital and a very special thanks to Dr. Wardlaw at Northlake Gastro.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 with visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and on Thursday morning from 9:00 AM until service time.
Interment will follow in Fussell Cemetery.
