Clyde Lacy Dinkins' Obituary
Clyde Lacy Dinkins passed away on January 5, 2010. He was born June 18, 1936 in Jacksonville, FL to Alice Fowler Dinkins and the late Emmett B. Dinkins and has been a resident of Mandeville, LA for the past 12 years.
The beloved husband of Mable Arrant Dinkins, he is survived by his daughter, Joy Lynn Dinkins; two sons, Mitchell L. Dinkins and Steve D. Dinkins (Karla); two step-sons, Steve Burgess (Carleen) and Stuart Burgess (Ty Ledet); four sisters: Peggy Goff (Jim), Permelia Rogers (James), Carolyn Dean (Ken) and Linda Oliver (Robert); four grandchildren: M. Wayne Catt, Christopher, Ashley and Jessica Dinkins; four step-grandchildren: Ben, Corey, Steven and Megan Burgess. He is also survived by two step great-grandchildren, Max and Lily Burgess.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend funeral services at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 8, 2010 at Hardage-Giddens Mandarin Chapel, 11801 San Jose Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32223.
Interment services at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville will commence Friday at 12:30 PM.
Memorial services will held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 11, 2010 at the First Baptist Church of Covington, 16333 Highway 1085, Covington, LA 70433. A time of visitation will follow the memorial service at the church fellowship hall.
