Beloved husband of the late Rose Wiggins Burns. Father of Lisa Burns Ausef, Judy Burns Weaver, Debra Burns Mire and Wade Allan Burns. Grandfather of Robert Hampton Mire, Jared Allan Mire and Katherine Alexis Burns. Son of the late Wade Hampton Burns and Beulah Erwin Burns. Brother of the late Gladys Given.
A member and Deacon of Red Bluff Baptist Church. Aged 84 years, a native of Folsom, LA, a former resident of Slidell and a resident of Folsom, LA for the past 27 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, July 28, 2007 at 10:30 AM from Red Bluff Baptist Church, 15204 Hwy 1078, Folsom, LA 70437.
Visitation on Friday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st. Ave., Covington, LA 70433 and on Saturday, AT THE CHURCH, from 9:30 AM until service time.
Interment in Burns Family Cemetery.
