Clovis Richard Lemoine's Obituary
Clovis Richard Lemoine of Covington, LA passed away on Monday, July 27, 2020. He was born on February 25, 1948 in Chalmette, LA to Woodrow and Eugina (Andres) Lemoine.
Clovis is survived by his beloved wife, Christina (Volpe) Lemoine; his daughter Jill Lococo (Ted); and his two grandchildren Nick Lococo and Ceci Lococo. He is also survived by his brothers Curtis Lemoine and Ronnie Lemoine (Aline).
Clovis is preceded in death by his parents.
Clovis grew up in Chalmette, LA, and graduated from Chalmette High School before joining the United States Marine Corp. After his time in the service, he became a commercial diver for Taylor Diving. During his life, he also worked for Bennco Communications in Columbus, OH and then worked for his brother at Southern Coating & Waterproofing. Clovis then went back to school and earned his Respiratory Therapist Certificate from Delgado Community College. After graduating from Delgado, he worked as a Respiratory Therapist at various nursing homes and hospitals until his retirement in 2011.
Due to current events, memorial services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Clovis may be made to the charity of your choice. E.J. Fielding Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
