Clint L. Pierson Jr.'s Obituary
Clint L. Pierson, Jr., at the age of 84, passed away on Friday, May 22, 2026. Born March 1, 1942, in Baton Rouge, LA, Clint attended the Louisiana State University Laboratory School, Louisiana State University, and the Paul M. Hebert Law Center, earning an undergraduate and a juris doctorate degree by 1967.
Clint married his cherished wife, Anna Lee Marcotte of Covington, LA, in 1966. Residing in Covington since 1968, Clint was a successful attorney, a devoted husband of Anna Lee, and a loving father of five children: Melissa Pierson Recatto (Brian), Chicago, IL, Clint L. Pierson, III, Covington, LA, Christopher L. Pierson (Shannon), Covington, LA, Bradley M. Pierson (Allison), New Orleans, LA, and David W. Pierson (Jennifer), Austin, TX. Clint is survived by his wife and children.
Also surviving Clint are his beloved grandchildren: Katherine Recatto, Chicago, IL, Andrew L. Recatto (Isabella), Richmond, VA, Margaret Pierson, Covington, LA, Blake E. DiSalvo, Jacksonville, FL, Brady W. Pierson, Covington, LA, Avery Pierson, Nashville, TN, Margeaux Pierson, Chapel Hill, NC, Rebecca Pierson, Austin, TX, Madeline Pierson, Austin, TX, and Conley M. Pierson, Austin, TX.
Affectionally known as “Sonny” to his siblings, Clint is survived by his sister, Barbara Pierson Gauthier (Mike), Thibodaux, LA, and brother, George M. Pierson (Jan), Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In testimony of his generosity, compassion, and humor, Clint is also survived by many wonderful lifelong friends.
Clint was preceded in death by his father, Clint L. Pierson, Sr., mother, Mary Olive Delacroix Pierson Olds, stepfather, Glen H. Olds, Jr., and sister, Mary Olive Pierson.
Clint’s life was anchored in love for his family, friends, and the LSU Fighting Tigers. Survived by all three, his legacy as a devoted husband, loving father, endearing friend, and unwavering fan will endure for generations.
The family would like to express their immense gratitude to the doctors and staff of St. Tammany Health System for Clint’s remarkable care and comfort. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at St. Peter Catholic Church, 125 E. 19th Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM until service time. Interment will take place following the service at St. Joseph Abbey Cemetery, 75376 River Road, Saint Benedict, LA 70457.
