Cleveland Roy "C.R." Taylor's Obituary
Cleveland Roy “C.R.” Taylor passed away at Heritage Manor Nursing Home of Franklinton on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. He was born in Covington, LA on April 16, 1932.
He is survived by his son, Perry Taylor; his grandchildren, Melissa Wall (Milton), Robbie Taylor (Aimee) and Brian Taylor (Angel); great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kallie, Kacie, Addison, Ava, Robert, Reid and Rowan. He is also survived by his brother Ervin Taylor, and nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Willie Taylor; his parents Vernice Holliday Taylor and Penny Taylor; Sr.; his sons, Robert Taylor and Calvin Taylor; and siblings, Norman “Cedric” Taylor, Frederick “Moot” Taylor, Penny Taylor, Jr. and Heinz Taylor.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family would like to thank Carol Rongstad and the staff of Heritage Manor Nursing Home for their devoted care.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services with Rev. Larkin Jenkins officiating at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Wednesday, February 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM with visitation on Wednesday beginning at 9:00 AM. Interment will follow in Barker McManus Cemetery.
