(continued - Part 2) She came & stayed with me last year when I hurt my back to help me with the babies while Tim was at work. It was such a pleasure and a joy to have her over. She & Dad always stayed with us during the hurricanes and it was such a pleasure to have them, we all get along so well. I love them both so much! We are all going to miss her so, so much. I love you Mom!
I am her daughter-in-law, Lisa, married to her oldest son, Tim. She was such a wonderful woman - wife, mother, mother-in-law & grandmother, and a great cook. Oh how she loved all of her grandchildren so very much. She was always a lady and conducted herself in such manner, always dressed so nice, had her hair & make-up so pretty. She was very loving, kind, thoughtful & giving. She always had dinner ready for Dad when he got home from work. She & Dad were married 46 years, had 2 sons, Tim and Sam, and 7 grandchildren. Not only was she my mother-in-law, but one of my best friends, we talked almost every day. She told me I was the daughter she wished she had, she even wrote that in a birthday card to me that she & Dad loved me as if I were their own daughter. That meant so much to me. Me and my 2 babies, Rene’ 4 yrs. & Ryan 2 yrs, would go and stay with Mom & Dad, even when Tim was working offshore. We would spend a few days or sometimes a week at a time with them & we all enjoyed it so much. (continued to next entry)
For those of you who knew Mom, but never knew the priceless sides of her. Mom was so many wonderful things I would not know where to start. No doubt this is an extremely painful time for all of us, like no pain I have ever felt before. Mom was always there for us, very generous, a true family person, serious when she needed to be, would hold your hand and a hug when you needed it for comfort, very prompt & professional. I have no doubt Mom knew her stuff. There were times when we had questions I thought let’s ask Mom, she would think & say hold on but she got it, yes Mom was sharp in mind. Her cup of heart overfilled all the time. There were times when I would want to ask hey Mom can I see your Masters Degree. This is how smart and how great with advise Mom was. Mom gave me & taught me so much about giving, Church, always doing the right thing and giving to others before herself. Mom could light up a room with such happiness & color that was not there before she entered. She had so many truly loving long time friends too. Mom’s smile and her wonderful laugh could brighten your day like no other. I spoke with her on the phone the night before she died & her last words to me were “love ya’ll”.

Aunt Clarice had the biggest heart and was the most generous person I've ever known. She made every Christmas special for my brother Shawn and I. My kids Tiffany and Jordan even remember her doing the same for them. I will dearly miss her but rest in the hope of being reunited in Heaven. Love to you Uncle Sal, Timmy and Sammy. Kelley
