Clarence Emile Garlepied Jr.'s Obituary
Clarence Emile Garlepied Jr., at the age of 79, entered eternal rest peacefully on Friday evening, July 14, 2023, at his family home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 23, 1944, to Clarence Emile Garlepied Sr. and Inez Garlepied.
He is survived by his loving wife Judith Senac Garlepied of 60 adoring years, his adoring children David Garlepied, Clarence Garlepied, III (Machel), Cheryl Garlepied Stuard (Terry) and Daniel Garlepied. Clarence was the proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Clarence was preceded in death by his son Michael Louis Garlepied, his parents Clarence and Inez Garlepied.
A native of New Orleans, and proud resident of Mandeville for over 17 years, Clarence graduated from St. Paul’s High School, in Covington in 1962. He was a Pipe Fitter and a member of the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local 60.
Clarence was a loving, compassionate, and most of all a very caring person to all. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and helping the Explorer Post 313 Canoeing Team. However, his true passion was spending time with his loving family. Clarence was unique and irreplaceable, well respected and liked, and will be deeply and dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. His jovial spirit and tender nature will remain in the many memories of his cherished friends and family until they meet him again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 12:00 PM with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM until service time. Interment will take privately at a later time.
