So sorry for your loss. Debbie Taylor SSA 74
I will miss my dear friend forever. I so enjoyed the time we had at the Slidell Curriculum Center, my visits to her kindergarten classroom, and the lunches we shared. Her love and compassion made my days in Louisiana so much fun. I loved her so much.
Tammie, Im sorry to read of your sister's death. I remember Cindy from our days of hanging out at your house in '82-'83.
Dear Haley, Joseph, Heather, Stormy, Kevin, Clay ... and all of the loved ones of Cindy Gaye Higgins, ... I just want you to know that my heart and prayers are with you as you mourn the loss of, Cindy. I wish that I were there in person to comfort you, but since I am not ... please know that my spirit surrounds you as it has since I first learned of Cindy's illness and now her death.
Cindy surely was comforted in the knowledge that she had the love and support of you and so many others during her lifetime and the days of her journey toward Heaven. God's gift of Cindy's presence in so many lives for even a brief time was truly a blessing. As HE welcomes her, we must say goodbye only to her physical being ... because she will remain in our hearts.
"To live in the hearts of those we love, is to never die." is engraved on my mother's tombstone ... and I vividly recall our conversation as she looked toward God's door ... she encouraged me to remember that she was not leaving me ... she would just be in another room ... waiting for me. It still brings me great peace to know that as I remember her, today ... nearly 26 years later. ... I hope that my sharing of this will bring you comfort as well.
Love, Martha Rothkamm
