Christopher Charles Ward's Obituary
Christopher Charles Ward passed peacefully in his 31st year, surrounded by loved ones, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Barbara Ware Shippey and Dr. Ellis R. Taylor, and his paternal grandmother, Lenore Beyer Ward. He leaves behind his loving family: parents Charles Ward Jr. and Holly Taylor Ward; brothers Scott and Matt Ward; paternal grandfather Charles R. Ward Sr.; Mrs. Anne V. Taylor; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins from across the globe.
A lifetime resident of Southeast Louisiana, Chris graduated from Northlake Christian High School in 2011. On a constant quest for knowledge, Chris was also near graduation from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in engineering technology.
A true Louisianian, Chris spent much of his time cooking for his family, perpetually looking to perfect old recipes and discover new ones. Chris's passion didn't end with sports and cooking; he was a man who found great pleasure in learning and music. A kind and gentle soul, he would unconditionally help any creature of God without expectation of any reward. Chris will be remembered as a loving brother and son, impeccable gift giver, and student of life.
