I remember when we were stationed together in Florida on the USS Klakring. I had just moved into my first apartment in Jacksonville. Chris had come over to help unpack, and just be around. He noticed that my apartment was missing a few things and offered to go to Wal-Mart and get me a few things as a house warming present. He came back to the apartment grinning ear to ear, you know that smile he got when he was up to something or found humor in a joke that no one else did, the first thing he pullled out of that bag was a bright pink bath towel, because I didn't have a single one. He thought he was so funny getting me that towel. Out of spite I used it, and 7 years later that pink towel is still a staple in my bathroom. We didn't talk a lot in recent years Chris, but I sure do miss the hell out of you. Rest in Peace my friend that pink towel isn't going anywhere.
