Dear George and Buddy:
Now that the funeral is over, I suppose we are to pick up where we left off before Chris got sick. I know it's not going to be easy but we all know that Chris would want life to go on without skipping a beat. That's just the way she was. These past few days since Chris passed away, I've come to realize that Chris' fear of dying was not actually the "dying process" but the fear of how her two most precious people in her life were going to go on without her. We all have our own special memories of Chris but the pictures in the video say it all. She loved the both of you with all her heart and I know she felt especially safe in the comfort you gave her during her last days. You should be content with all that you've done for her. I'm sure she's smiling down on all of us and expecting life to go on. Never forget that we're here for you now and always.

I will not be able to attend the services due to work, its impossible for every one who admired and appreciated Chris to get off that day. Chris would understand that because she was devoted to her job, and all of us who depended on her. She gave every person the time , that she often didn't have, and always ending every encounter with a smile. That is how I will remember her-that smile, her sense of humor and her wonderful family that I got to meet while caring for her.
Our prayers are with the family over the loss of your dear one. As long as one remembers one is never lost.

I was so sorry to read of Christine's passing in the newspaper. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Speaking from my own experience, you will be fine in the long run though I know you will have to work to get there. Keep the faith and know others are praying for you.

George and Buddy, we feel your pain. It is never easy to say "goodbye". Time will heal. We have so many memories that we have built together over the 30+ years as neighbors. We will cherish those always. We are here if you need us. Be strong. Chris is in a much better place.

Dear Uncle George and Buddy, I know this is a hard time right now as it is for all of us. Be sure that my kids will never forget their "Kissy".
