It was with dismay that we recently learned of Christa's death. Our mother, Ms. Anna Korsch, formerly Brendemühl, then living in Hamburg-Altona, was friends with Christa for a long time. Even when Christa went to America, the two of them had mail and telephone contact for years. Meanwhile, our mother will soon be 94! She always has fond memories of Christa and her husband. My sister was also very fond of Christa because she was mostly cheerful and in good spirits. I was still too young then, only knew her from photos. She was beautiful!
