In Loving Memory of Cheryl (December 14, 1951 – May 3, 2026)
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Cheryl Lynn Roche, a beloved sister, aunt, and friend who passed away on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the age of 74. Cheryl was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Milton McDonald Jr.; and her parents, Alvin Charles Roche and Dorothy Rita Blanchard.
Cheryl was known for her intelligence, wit, compassion, and beauty-qualities that defined both her personal and professional life. For many years, she worked as a therapist offering guidance, understanding, and unwavering support to those in need. Her ability to truly listen and care made a lasting difference in the lives of countless individuals.
Cheryl was a deeply loved sister, whose presence brought comfort, strength, and much laughter to her family. She faced her own health challenges with remarkable courage and resilience, demonstrating grace and determination even in the most difficult times.
Cheryl will be remembered for her independence, strength of spirit, and the love she shared so freely. Her legacy lives on in the many lives she touched and in the cherished memories held by those who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her sisters and their families, Kathleen Lindsey (William), Jeanne Wogan (David); nieces, Amanda Lindsey and Michelle Wogan (Marco Paim); nephew Nicholas Wogan (Lauren) and great nephew, the love of her life, Harrison Paim.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Interment will be held at Southeast Louisiana Veterans Cemetery, 34888 Grantham College Drive, Slidell, LA 70460, at a date and time to be determined.
