Cheryl Ann Blanc's Obituary
Cheryl Ann “Scheckey” Blanc departed this life on Saturday, January 20, 2024. She was a native of New Orleans, LA. She was preceded in death by her father, Foley Sims, brother, Lawrence B. Goudeau, Jr., and sister, Paulette Franklin.
Cheryl is survived by her three children, Tyrone (Kimberly) A. Blanc, Jr , Toya (Ronnie) Blanc-Cotton, and Todd A. Blanc; 10 grandchildren, Jordan, Ja’Myiah, Dylan, Jaylynn, Jade, Tyler, Titus, Justin, Tayven, and Roy; mother, Joyce Sceau, brothers, Darrell Sceau, Felton and Milton; Uncles, Ernest (Tina) Bibbins and Michael Gilliam, devoted Goddaughter Teasha Gilliam Lewis, devoted cousins, Michael Bibbins and Tanika Gilliam, adopted mother, Elaine Pete, devoted aunt Mona Navarre, long-time devoted friends, Laurie Brumfield, Sharon Hartford, and Dolores Harris, also devoted friend Kimberly Dillon, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Celebration of Life Memorial Service at E. J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Avenue, Covington Louisiana on Saturday, January 27, 2024, at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 9:00 AM until service time. Interment will take place privately at a later time.
