Charlotte "Becky" Klein's Obituary
Charlotte “Becky” Hamrick Klein age 82, of Covington passed away Tuesday afternoon, February 23, 2021 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 7, 1938 in Henderson, North Carolina to Jarvis Hamrick and Omelia Wilson Hamrick.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 40 years William “Ronnie” Klein, her children Carl “Ray” Vickers, III; Kevin Vickers (Frances); Kathi Vickers LaCombe (Glen); Charlotte Vickers Samuel (Chris); grandchildren, Benjamin LaCombe, Jaques LaCombe, Evan LaCombe, Rebecca Samuel and Noah Samuel is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jarvis and Omelia Wilson.
Charlotte worked at Ochsner Clinic for 15 years. She also worked at First Baptist Church of Covington Mother’s Day Out for some time. She was a true prayer warrior. Her true passion was to serve others through cooking, phone calls and her writing and also spending time with her family and friends. Charlotte was kind, caring person who was well liked by all that knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at Collins Boulevard Baptist Church, 1501 N Collins Blvd, Covington, LA 70433, on Saturday, March 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow the services in the fellowship hall. Interment will take place at a later date.
With COVID-19, restrictions social distancing and face mask are required to attend services.
