Charlesa LeJeune Dupaquier's Obituary
Charlesa LeJeune Dupaquier age 88, of Mandeville passed away peacefully Tuesday morning, June 8, 2021surrounded by her family. She was born on January 20, 1933 in Egan, Louisiana to Mark LeJeune and Maria Leger LeJeune.
She is survived by her loving children Norton “Duke” Dupaquier, Jr. (Donnalee), Vanessa Dupaquier Adams (Clarence “Te-Cye”), Mark Dupaquier (Nancy), Louis Dupaquier (Vikki), eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Charlesa is preceded in death by her husband of 65 years Norton Dupaquier, her grandson Michael Dupaquier, parents Mark and Maria LeJeune, eight brothers Elmo, Henry, Francis, Hugh, Myles, Larry Joe, Ray, and Carl LeJeune, five sisters, Wava Mouton, Mertrice Regan, Lois Cooper, Verda Andrepont, and Patricia Bullard.
A native of Egan, resident of New Orleans, she retired to Mandeville in 2003. She enjoyed interior decorating, gardening, reading, and in her younger days dancing. Her true passion was spending time with her family. Charlesa was a true advocate for education, and instilled these values to everyone. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W 21st Ave, Covington, LA 70433 on Saturday, June 12, 2021 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow the services in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
