Charles "Bud" Thates Morse's Obituary
Charles Thates “Bud “ Morse, passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Friday, August, 15, 2008, Feast of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven.
He was born on October 29, 1926 to the late Charles Edward and Honora Thates Morse. Mr. Morse was a resident of Covington for most of his life. He attended St. Paul’s School, Tulane University and was a Veteran of the Korean War.
Brother of Catherine Morse Smith of Ponce Inlet, FL and the late Clayton E. “Sonny” Morse. He is survived by his children Lizby M. (Randy) Eustis, Melody M. (Bobby) Barousse, Barry (Priscilla) Morse, and Candy M. (Dan) Modeen, and his grandchildren, Polly E. Carr, John Charles and Peyton Eustis; Patrick, Kate, Caroline, Frances and Ben Barousse; Mallory and Max Morse; Hadley and Maggie Modeen, all of Covington.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation on Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home Inc., 2260 W. 21st Ave., Covington, LA 70433 from 9:00 until 11:00 AM. A private funeral mass and burial will follow.
