Charles A. Jones Sr.'s Obituary
Charles A. Jones, Sr. passed away on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the age of 70.
Beloved husband of the late Patsy Willis Jones. Loving father of Charles A. Jones, Jr., Loretta Lebo, and M. Christine Jones. Son of the late Christine Baltzer Jones and Edwin A. Jones. Brother of Roland Jones, Robert Jones, Peggy Jones Crawford and the late Edwin Jones and Maurice Jones. Grandfather of Justin Oalmann, Joseph Oalmann and Victoria Jones, C. Devin Lebo, and Kristen Lebo. Great-grandfather of Aldy Yearwood. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and his loving dog, Zebra Jones.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Covington where he graduated from St. Paul High School and was a longtime employee of A&P and Champagne Beverage.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at E.J. Fielding Funeral Home, 2260 W. 21st Avenue, Covington, LA 70433 on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at 1:00 PM with visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
Interment will follow in Pinecrest Memorial Gardens.
